English Comparison

In this blog post I will do a few comparisons between the countries Sweden and Australia.

The biggest city in Australia is called Sydney. The population of Sydney is around 4 800 000 people and the area is about 12 300 square kilometers. This means that it lives around 380 people per square kilometer in Sydney. The biggest city in Sweden is called Stockholm and it is also the capital of Sweden, while Sydney is not the capital of Australia. Stockholm holds about two and a half million inhabitants (including all the suburbs), while the area of the city (including all the suburbs) is around 570 square kilometers. This means that it lives about 4 900 per square kilometer in Stockholm, which means that Stockholm has much higher "density" than Sydney has. This is probably due to the fact that Stockholm is much smaller than Sydney, but that Stockholm has higher buildings and houses than Sydney. Sydney has, as earlier mentioned, more inhabitants than Stockholm, and it is due to the fact that Sydney is a much bigger city than Stockholm.

The total of area of Australia is about 7.7 million square kilometers, and most of it is covered by a huge desert, which is said to be uninhabitable, therefor the total population density in Australia is very small. The population lies around 2 inhabitants per square kilometer. The total area of Sweden is about 450 000 is about square kilometers. The population density of Sweden is about 20 inhabitants per square kilometer, which is ten times higher than the population density of Australia, and this is due to the fact that a big part of Australia is covered in desert.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
