Moomba festival: 

Held in Melbourne, Australia.

• About coming together and having fun.
• There are bands playing and big floats you can look at. 
• There is also big parades.

Mandi Gras:

• Means ”Fat Tuesday” in french.
• Also called pancake day. 
• Balls for rich people. 
• Many big parades.

Cape town festival:

• Lots of music, film, theatre and night life. 
• The slogan of the festival is ”One city, many cultures”.

The festival of the tooth:

• Held in the city Kandy, Sri Lanka. 
• Held for Buddha, they celebrate one of his teeth which they have in a big temple. 
• The tooth gets shown around town on the back of an elephant. 
• There is a big parade with lot of elephants and other artists.
